Hello,
I have of the eclipse in Turkey, a video rotated. Now, unfortunately I played a trick on the tripod and I could not be fixed correctly to the eclipse. The result is catastrophic, the sun is constantly flying up and out and bottom of the picture.
That's why I want a picture to interim from the film (where the sun can be seen grad mal nice for a moment to use) and use this as an "Stillimage" for the duration of the worst shaking. So that's almost 2 minutes.
The film I've now played on the DVD - Recorder (->). IFO files. But unfortunately I am layman had been looking on the internet ... but I'm not really smart. Probably the first time needs to convert to MPEG?
Is this possible and what I plan to use the Programs I have to?
Would be very grateful for your help!

Hi Konrad,
forget the compressed video recording of DVD, would rather take the original tape and capture the recording directly to your computer. Is it a digital camcorder (MiniDV or Digital8)?

Yes, it's a digital camera, JVC (on it is: High - tape Digital Video Camera), probably somewhat older model. I have loaned me.

Can I incorporate the above-mentioned process (Stillimage rather loose sequence, thereby getting Audiotonspur left) with Movie Maker somehow on the line?

Unfortunately, I do not come next. Have been synonymous to me yesterday, the Magix program looked at video editing but the salesman said that could synonymous ned much more than Movie Maker. However ich''s with MovieMaker war not out .... Would be very grateful if this could once again express an expert.

I can certainly not by war out just the frames of the film to show. For this I would need the separate soundtrack. And then I'd like the blurred scene of approximately 1.5 minutes of each picture by a Stillimage (where the sun is nice to see substitute). But like I said, the audio track should be maintained (mood at the eclipse).
Does it work at all with Movie Maker?
