I have VLC times with an old video-DVD "on the hard drive streamed. Unfortunately I forgot to quit the program, so I am next morning a 17-gigabyte file called BMK.ts on the plate found that the film contains several occasions.
Question now: How do I edit this monster file? And as I turn them into a combustible DVD or an image or 2 AVI files for DVD player? Oh yes: I use Mac OS X 10.5.6.
MPEG Streamclip 1.9 on the file says this: -------------------------------------------- Stream: BMK.ts Type: MPEG transport stream

How would it be with and play again on exit? Synonymous with me the sense of the whole not really opens up - why "streams" is a non-copy protected DVD to the hard drive? Jürgen

A copy was not possible. The disc contains documentary material of my university time and is (unfortunately) seem so aged that all copying programs sometime station. The playback, however, still does sometimes.

This is an opportunity for blueray ;-)
Fun aside, this would simply re-rip again, with mactheripper ripit or how else do you want your Doublon out, laboriously at 14 3 / 4 hours total time .... ?

There are "only" just under 8 hours. And since there's only one, about 2 3 / 4 hour long movie on the DVD was, I was able to at least the first and the last quarter after them. The time interval paÃxt synonymous. Now I only Muay once completely through, to find out whether there somewhere middle Stà ¶ requirements still exist. If so, I Muay then the whole thing with the second (and possibly with the third copy) in my file and compare hope daÃx the errors not always equally distributed.

VLC responds extremely good-natured to file or read error. Wonder but it can not: What you've received as a recording, the all errors of the source included.
Fairly good Fehlerkorrekturen includes Project X, but only in Connection with demuxer.

Apart from this and / and the negative statement is a high probability MPEG Streamclip that you've never used. Otherwise you would have to that:

ProjectX ever tried? If this fails, with split (1) small cut, the parts individually and re-edit composed.

Polemics?
You has my first posting in this thread to read? Why should I the fact that only about ProjectX to demux if MPEG Streamclip the same result.
It is interesting just what rauskommt back. And the streams of my dBox are almost always problematic. And in my experience, I can say: Nice progress bar! Especially if time code errors found and "fixed" are, I can quite safely say that the result unusable afterwards.
MPEG Streamclip seems (correct me!) Merely to ensure that PS afterwards conform remains playable.
