Since I now want to assemble the purpose of video editing a specially adapted computer, but I present my old PC still wants to use to play etc, but I did not really room for another monitor, I would like to know me, whether it's a VGA Cable is where you can connect a monitor s.zwei PCs and the whole thing can be controlled via toggle. So if the quasi-one PC and now I s.ist toggle different PC, I must first switch to see the desktop of the second computer to be able to.
I've tried to find an answer via search, but not quite, I was looking for. Is there such a cable?

But there are limitations, I believe in the Resolutionoder refresh rate, because you would have to clarify once you gradefür video smart.

I have such a KVM switch between my office and DV editing PC in use. It works to me now since a few years good service and I can highly recommend it synonymous.

Ie: cutting with two, play, etc. with a monitor. Since I really needed 'just' another monitor that has a VGA and two DVI ports, right? That you can make happy. Only you should your computer in advance of electrical switch-on petroleum operations. Otherwise there may be one or more short circuits. The only truth is that of Marcus described variant. I have the synonymous and am happy with it. The mode can be by keyboard command. Just a pity that to my knowledge not available for two monitors. Incidentally, all the resolutions can be set, why not synonymous.

I synonymous rate for the KVM. Can still be the cheapest, now make all the pix to 1600. Like with cables again saves money. Great advantage, you'll never confuse your mouse and keyboard, so you only eien. The second Monitor s.Schnitt disturbs the Office does not.

Aloah, Your post has prompted me to a restructuring in the head;) and that's rausbekommen here: I want to buy me a second monitor. My old has here was only VGA. My old graphics card that has the office PC is only VGA. The new PC has then a GraKa with VGA and DVI. The new monitor synonymous VGA and DVI. So I will s.den connect your office PC (VGA) s.den new monitor (VGA (and DVI)) and the cut-PC (VGA and DVI) old monitor (VGA) and the new monitor ((and VGA) DVI). Might even work out, right? In effect, then reduced 2 PCs s.2 monitors with technical means.
PS: If you can choose which monitors the input signal synonymous? (would love to have a TFT of Samsung)
