Just use 2x on a video makes no sense, I would have then the 2nd Keylight to announce that it will use the original video and not the result of the 1 Keylight.
If the video 2x, I pull into the comp and each Keye, then taking from each an alpha mask and the video a third time including lay ansich does exactly what I want.

You once could try using masons ColorKey a few between, this is not computationally intensive, and you can slap on 20 pieces with no problem and can make Keylight then the finishing touches.

I think you're working with Keylight something different from what it should. Keylight a single instance would be enough in professional Keyen never.
One popular option is the three-pass key, in which the key is divided into three sections: Background, Core and Edge.
