Hi!
I have the following concerns: The Panasonic SD 707 has a microphone input, front right than 3.5 mm jack. At this input I can get a hand microphone (; XLR to 3.5mm jack cable) easy to connect, the sound is auto leveled perfectly.
But what if I do not directly plug in a microphone, but use the input as a "line in" use, that is not the sound from the microphone, but of a sound system. Can the camera see the car? As the sound is it? Has anyone done so that experience?

So take a 3.5 mm jack to RCA cable, ran s.ein sound generators and pure in the Cam ...

I suspect that there will be a significant over-control, both with automatic transmission, modulated as synonymous manual.
My advice would be to use a passive direct box with level attenuation (-20db) - a cost of somewhere around 15 euros.

The output voltage is a line of output with about 1 V s.10 K-ohm 50 - 100 times stronger than the output voltage of an electret microphone with about 10 - 20 mV / P.
If you are hobbyist, you can easily solder a small trimmer with 10 K-Ohm directly or s.das cable and adjust it so that only 1 / 50 to 1 / 100 of the line-out microphone input voltage s.den the camera is released.
