Hello,
after some time and study your forum and become a tower of books, it is time gray theory into practice colorful =)
As I plan my next year s.der film-AK in Vienna, I try to apply again to find out which branch (Camera or cut) because the fitting is.
So here is my first exercise - Cut
The idea for the content of the short film was already longer exists, but I want to go into this if only a few reviewers bez. Feeling, action, rhythm and flow of image and eye tracking fallen to see if the content or message so synonymous with the viewer comes to me as I introduce.
The contents are composed entirely of a collection of stock footage (Royalty Free) together to me, a friend read in order to exercise access. The same concerns the song synonymous.
The whole project took me about 2 weeks claimed. One week to begin the appropriate musical accompaniment to locate, and roughly me the video footage together to search. The second week I then spent exclusively with the cut. "2 weeks for 3:22 min. oO

what would be an exercise to help as then cut the film a message einzuhauchen, if not images in a certain order and a rhythm "to stick together"?

the moralizing s.Ende sentence should not be necessary. However important the very end of my original concept. Since I was not entirely happy with it, had I then precaution mitreingepackt.
Otherwise I would have been synonymous the same question as s.DWOA: "What exactly are you on the war because the foot? Or. With what score do you think I s.Ziel passing shot?"

For cinematic statement of content - whether in journalism or film formats - there is a desired expression, a production, these visualizations pictures, etc., precisely to a statement from staged and must be produced. The material to work with footage from a pool of highly tainted with compromise is, of course, no question. The man, however, so as fast in the wrong street landed me initially was not aware. .. Re-learned! ..
My next exercise will be primarily of the camera, and then again of course synonymous with the cutting dedicate. I think so the idea or the concept of substantially following exercise remain faithful to the film and linguistically "pass their words" to find.

The selected images and music "are too good" I was aware. Wanted it, however, the reviewers on the assembly as such limit. As for the meanings of the individual images and the resulting links, I can at the next project which is, as mentioned before, the Camera miteinbezieht much more accurate and sophisticated design.
Then I look at the 20 of you mentioned movies can save;)
