So far I have my SonyVX 2100 never let you down. I use almost exclusively synonymous sony excellence tapes and take not too much to (presumably so far ~ 20 up to 30 hours of recording) between (; quite rare) I clean for 10 seconds with the SonyDVM12CLD tape.
In the last two weeks, I have a few times but then Sony premium bands and a Panasonic tape used - was inevitable, because I had to play outside bands (; recorded withCanonXM2).
Yesterday I wanted to be with so tape a premium, which had previously been recorded only once, start normal. REC lit and nothing pointed to a problem. Before cleaning tapes I would not recommend in general!
It sounds logical that the filth of the head disk s.tape remains liable, however, the tape goes through the entire tape and "sets" the dirt on the most pressing roller or the belt guides again. It may well be that the cleaning tape the dirt s.einer body has stored in the drive and has transported the normal DV tape, the mud directly to the video heads.
If the problem still occurs, I recommend a cleaning in a repair center.

I had exactly the same problem with Sony premium bands!
the first 8-10 minutes were blue .. even though everything had fit .. then went to the record release!
I think s.ein baddefekt.Da each recording then went without any problems!
I get around to panasonic pros.
