Hi,
I am caught in a sudden rain yesterday and could not pack away the Cam in time. Now, does absolutely nothing more - as dead with neither accurate nor with electricity.
How do I go now before next? Can something like repaired directly from Canon? If so, how the experience with it?
If not, what dealer makes a thing? Perhaps here is even a present? What are the chances of your experience, are out that this again can be repaired?
I've never had something broken, so I am now that little perplexed.

let it dry out first few days, battery, memory card out, the cassette compartment open, perhaps on the "back" lying in a bit of luck is back ..... wish you the least!

Synonymous would say wait for now. synonymous already several times, the unlucky one "Champagne Shower Did abzubekommen. Right after that was synonymous first anything. But two days later after disassembling and cleaning the switch all was the same.

Since you probably do not even know where you shall begin to cutting, I would steer clear, be patient, let the cam dry properly, using hair dryer-but! Attention! - Not hot, but lukewarm air the area Batterfach, memory card, and any switch can speed up the drying a bit.
A few days could take .....
