Hi folks!
I want to start tomorrow night, a small live concert. So far, I've always recorded very calm things (plays, fixed settings) and thus used a tripod, tilted or zoomed s.and to time. It is relatively dark in the room, only the stage will of course be brightly lit.
Now I'd like something more reinbringen Dynamics, so my questions:
- Which Exposure Program Tv or Av (I will, however, actually), depth of field, or do something with Auto Gain? Can I turn on sowas in Spotlight mode, to avoid lighting up bright surfaces?
- Automatic or manual (with push AV) Focus? Freehand or Stativfixiert?
I get the sound directly fromthe desk over an XLR input, and he is banned again separately as a mixing on minidisc. The cable should be enough for a couple of steps s.Bühnenrand long. But I have a small plateau synonymous to shoot.
Surely someone has of you that have experience? I now place no demands high quality, but reasonably, it should look like already. Sure, it would be fine with two cams, if only for the Kassettenwechseln, but unfortunately I have neither a wzeite still the one to shoot.

So if you feel comfortable and there have been schonmal (experience), I recommend to all the manual to make ... (Take care not to shake while you very much!)
Otherwise, let auto sharp set, you can may save your recordings! "Exposure Program" ... synonymous depends. In principle you can do it automatically synonymous, depending on what you expect of you!
That with the sound should not be an Probem when you get finished mixing it! :)

Have you some money and you want to rent equipment? I can recommend you Steadicam or dolly. With no preference as-it-with a camera is not particularly easy reinzubringen great dynamics without having to be hectic. Cassette change is, of course einunvermeidbares problem!

Schonmal Thanks for your tips. I think I'll do it manual, so far as it goes. Try the first try. The idea with which I find suitable pieces for each song great.
Two cams have not really about s.ist: the small scale and I probably jam-packed and b) neither a 2nd Cam or a (n) 2. Man / woman. All this should cost nothing (as always), I get no money for it.

Kennwa. The recording yesterday was more like synonymous in the style:
Pickup for the Cam was natural vinegar, because the desk was stone age. After all, it was enough for an MD recording.
Podium course I had it (but no "Then more people go inside.") And the light was red monochrome and static ( "The other lights are broken." 1A Color for the shooting). So I had to shoot 60 minutes freehand.
