Frage von piotr:Hello everybody:)
I have a one-minute video in HDV and the highest quality is to be 6MB to shrink it to a well-known video portal to be able to upload.
What codec should I take and what s.besten max. resolution can I use?
if it is of concern, the video has synonymous ton.
thank you very much
peter

Since video portal, does that mean, synonymous the player must be very popular and where most users already exist or are very quick to install as a plugin. Under the condition, I would be just DIVX or Windows Media 9 guessing. Both can be HD 1080i and 720p HD. How small the file then, comes heavily on the raw material s.and parameters. Try it. Antwort von piotr:
should be a standard codec and the resolution must not remain so large. I know only mpeg and avi
Antwort von deepbluetube:
The portal has a specific target, which format they will accept for, or why did you like mpeg?
Avi is not a codec (see various threads about this here) that solves your question.
Antwort von Flo_vdH:
6mb a minute ... that is, out of HDV, which is already compressed, 1:36. Because of HD is not much left. Already no HDV quality ... Since you're even in SD, if reasonably well is to look ...
Antwort von deepbluetube:
Some of the default file format, or only for the size? Most want the portals but synonymous only one format. Which of your wishes - or is that the no preference?
Antwort von piotr:
is important to me that there are no visible artifacts and streak can be seen. the resolution is legally no preference. does that with mpeg?
Antwort von deepbluetube:
do you mean with mepg mpeg-2 (and not mpeg-4 or ...).
If it's because it is so adjustable MPEG 2, MPEG Resolutions and 2 can be synonymous with the codec to say how he vs. quality. Size should be weighted (that is what you're probably with no artifacts "look).
I understand but still do not understand why you want MPEG 2, so I always ask then what the portal really wants. Because MPEG-2 compression as well as the proposed DivX or WM9. If the size of the files is important, then MPEG 2 is not the first choice. So again the question of why the should be.
Antwort von PowerMac:
640x480, Quicktime with H.264, 800 kbps, 2xVBR. Come closer look. The best quality in 6 MB.
