The Sennheiser ME66 I know from personal experience. This is an XLR-directional microphone, a battery for its operation, either (1) or a phantom power supply (2) is required. The microphone I use mainly for recording of voices or sounds, if the sound source is located a few meters. The ME66 delivers a high output level, which can easily override when to loud noises.
(1) AA cell in conjunction with the K6 power adapter
(2) in conjunction with the food adapters K6 or K6P

I worked a few times with the MD 441, but in connection with one sqn. nen's just really pretty neat and very solid synonymous (stable) microphone .. if you can afford it; =)
probably one of the best dynamic mics reporter ...
