Frage von musicmze:Hello,
I have here a 10 "VGA monitor lying around (think 1024x768)
I would like to use for my SonyFX7 with 35mm adapter as a preview.
Is there a possibility of HDMI to vga adapt (certainly not a cheap ...) or via component to vga?
Or better: has anyone collected schonmal experience with something? (in order to assess sharpness, etc. ..)
vg, thank you Martin

CRT or TFT?
You will operate the Sonysicher in any 50Hz mode. The timing of the monitor can not with reasonable certainty.
Can you s.einem computer try it.
Even if it comes with adapters, is still the question of whether the portable is then the need, as well as the monitor ne power.
What is guaranteed is CVBS / S-video -> VGA converter, as active, but of the signal quality rather badly. If there is indeed only a matter of even recognize what's on the monitor ...

Will not work. The 50hz your camera are probably not even the problem. The video would probably be just here and there have Vsync error.
1. HDMI is a digital interface, VGA is analog
2. A VGA monitor expecting an RGB signal, standard video signals are in the Y cB cR standard.

na that is not digital and vga fit together easily clear .... unfortunately.
you just have to just find a cheap converter. the whole is a tft, with the 12v is operated. it should have been an acceptable quali, so you can judge the sharpness. I even flirting with one ikan monitor. only he is in fact not cheap (and the other monitor I had lying around ...)

For an HD converter (which converts to you in any case, the picture with a time lag) you with certainty bzahlst almost as much as for a Ikan HD monitor.

The Fury synonymous not change the fact that the monitor can be 50Hz timing. Test Erstmal s.dem Calculator, then you can take it from there. The probability that the thing which is more than 60Hz is very low. And in the price class of a HDFury be synonymous get even passable TFTs with CVBS / S-video.
And if you want HD, they stop buying a TFT with HDMI Input and 50Hz support. Which should however not only RGB and YUV support on HDMI. However, it would be difficult, nowadays even a computer TFT with external power supply available for mobile care, if necessary, we must then use another synonymous 12V-> 230V transformer.
So, since I might take but rather just a little deeper into their pockets.

50hz, the monitor is not needed anyway, because all have a minimum of LC displays 60hz rate, he will have with a 50hz source is a Picture, but Vsync fibrillation with fast movements have.
Antwort von carstenkurz:
Again, if a 60Hz monitor is displaying at 50Hz signals something even pure luck. No matter whether analog or digital.
Then you should make are based not buy.
