Hello in the round,
I have Pan HDC-SD707 and because I need the 50 images per second I save the files in 1080/50p (. m2ts) format.
Now I would like with VDub by STEP through the frames, I get the file not opened.
Even my AVS script does not.
Video Clip = DirectShow source ("C: \ test.m2ts)
return (video clip)
The format is not supported in any way, it is stated in the error message.
Maybe someone has an idea?

DirectShow source ("c: \ blah.mts)
Installed ffdshow tryout times and alternate it as the default decoder for H264/AVC a (ffmpeg-mt).

It works, unfortunately, still do not. I get the error message remains synonymous of AviSynth:
AviSynth open failure -> the format is not supported.
I had ffdshow installed already synonymous and synonymous changed.
I've seen times by synonymous with the help of the Filter Manager, the installed filter (see Appendix), but here I find nowith AVC or H.264 in the name.
Do I have to install here might forget something?
Although I think *. m2ts files to *. mts rename, I get the same result. I can still not open files with.
However, I am not necessarily dependent on VDub. Maybe someone here knows one of the round, other (free) software with the help I can open a 1080/50p format and can by STEP Trick mode (screen number is important).

Yes ffmpegsource would synonymous. Before you continue to try on it with AviSynth. The file can be played with Media Player (Classic)? If I remember correctly you need for ffdshow and the Haali Media Splitter AVCHD yet (http://haali.su/mkv/). Although there is MatroskaSplitter but the splits synonymous transport streams (ts / mts ..).
/ EDIT I do not know what the current state of ffdshow (source) is at least as I have still used it was not just image, 1-2 frames were s.Anfang / end of the clip lost forever. FFmbc can convert AVCHD (at least 25p/50i) is correct in what ever you want synonymous.

firstly like to support.
I am first time reporting on the use of ffvideosource investigated.
This has basically worked before.
However, there were two effects:
Once you scale the display, moves, jumps, ect to a different frame. is decoded at the problems. This will cause streaks and blurs the image.
The other problem is that I have such a large file, as I present in my case not even open, can (4GB).
I then tried to primes FFMBC advice.
This seems to work better.
However, I'm with the syntax limited to right. Maybe someone can draw from the round again just under the arms?
I would like to have the frame number from the current image view. Docu do ffplay gives hope that I get this info about-stats. Here ffplay probably expected some parameters. What?
If I ffplay.exe-stats c: \ typing Test.m2ts get the message:
"Expected number for stats but found: C: \ Test.m2ts"
Furthermore, I continually get the message:
"Non-existing SPS referenced in a buffering period"
"Non-existing PPS referenced"
-> I have enough buffer? I can raise some way?
Because of this message I have the same time trying to reduce the display size, with-s size.
this, I've tried different syntax:
-S size 640 480 C: \ Test.m2ts
-S size 640x480 c: \ Test.m2ts
-S 640 480 C: \ Test.m2ts
-S size 640.480 C: \ Test.m2ts
ect ...
either there is a message incorret frame size, or it changes nothing.
I now once again to s.ende with my Latin and oh so slowly finished with the nerves. I mean, but that may not really be that hard!
