we have for a film project unfortunately with two different cameras filmed, the first of which was 16:9, which is the second but was not available. For everything to 16:9 to make my way now would be as follows:
1. The 4:3 in Premiere with the existing black bars above and below so as to provide the appearance of 16:9 to obtain. 2. Now the whole film into a place and there lies the problem. In fact, with the bar still send material 4:3.
Do you know a way (software) the black bars wegzucroppen order s.Schluss "real" to get 16:9? Or is my approach of a priori wrong / too complicated / easy otherwise totally feasible?
I'm excited for your suggestions ....

Hello, Strangely, there are always difficulties understanding.
If you have a 4x3 picture in a 16x9 project will not draw the top and bottom black bars, but logically, the left and right. You must therefore inflate to 133.3% (movement / scaling). This is also logical top and bottom of image information is truncated. With a properly kadrierten 4x3 Picture above are often touched the heads - that you must take into account and if necessary correct the picture (motion / position).

There are only three possibilities: - Black bars - Picture distortion - A little off the film (top and bottom or left and right) 4:3 is not 16:9, you will never be the Picture can convert 1:1

Mir is the fundamental problem clearly. My wish would approach this way:
1. I guess the 4:3 material, add black bars above and below. (optical 16:9) 2. I render the (still 4:3) 3. With the software and / or the plug-in "Crop the stuff away and render it" Now I cut the black out and tell the program memory so that now it is s.wie (ie 16:9) 3. My question: Is this possible? Gibt's das?
PS: deep in my memories inside me that there is something in virtual dub times were deceiving me, or my memory.
I hope this now makes clear my fundamental consideration

You can of course synonymous with the rear of the cold kitchen ....
Leg Dein 4x3 material into the 16x9 timeline and see what happens. And then do you do it exactly as I described before. It is not a new science, but everyday business of a cutter, someone with 4x3 material arrives or when archival material to be incised. Greeting Wiro
