Hi!
I would like in a Project Multicam 16:9 and 4:3 videos.
If this is impossible (due to the different aspect ratios) when no images are distorted wants or is there some way to accomplish this?

Since I am your multicam tool does not know, I would secure the route and both formats initially on a common denominator.
So you decide whether you do 4:3 to 16:9 or vice versa. That recording, which must be adjusted, suffers tool according to a more or less visible quality loss.

It is student version of Sony Vegas 8.0.
I have the 4:3 material on DVD and the 16:9 material on MiniDV.
So it would be angesichtsdes quality loss kllüger the 16:9 DV material to bring to 4:3.

1) Pruning
2) Reduce with black bars
3) compromise between 1 and 2
As the format-conversion software with your handy work I can, however, due to lack of experience with Sony Vegas does not say. But it is somehow determined (all three variants). Even with my old Adobe Premiere 6.0, I have already hingekriegt.

Furthermore, says the fact that the recording is already MPEG2 compressed, nothing about their quality. Good MPEG2 encoder, uncritical material and high data rates can truly work wonders. ;-)
