I watched the many questions on this subject already, and have unfortunately never found a unanimous answer: How do you go to the Final Cut Pro 5 with 16:9 material (not anamorphic) to when we would have it letterboxed, so that unbiased on any TV can be viewed?
Antwort von Markus:
Hello,
16:9 letterbox) is flawless 4:3 (with black bars. If you are treating it as 4:3-material, it will be true of any television. ;-)
Mark is right. To edit the material with 16:9 letterbox, you need the sequence settings for 4:3 on your timeline. Final Cut Pro would have to auto show a letterbox in the Canvas.

Hello Mark, Hello Rob Merci for your responses. I'm probably not the issue corrected. I would like rausspielen 16:9 material of the recording has already manufactures Letter Boxes (that really is Covered 4:3). It should however be afterwards anamorphic, so proper 16:9 and not Covered 4:3. How do I do that?
Best regards,
salome
