If I see a movie as a mov file in 16:9 PAL render, ie 1.42 pixel aspect ratio, then I get a film output, although the pixel aspect ratio, but still displayed as 4:3!
This happens to me synonymous with After Effects 7 and QuickTime Pro 7!
Anybody knows a solution, how can I change this?
I would be very grateful to you.

Hello Helga,
appears to ignore the player used the pixel aspect ratio correction, or has been disabled. To create a video (only) for the computer to use, so it anywhere with the right proportions is shown, select an image size with square pixels, in the case of 16:9 for example 1024 × 576 or 720 × 405th
In case of further s.Computer leave the image at 720 × 576 and ignore the misrepresentations in the player.

Thanks for your answer!
Would that mean that it happens on a calculator, the correction is in any case is presented properly?
And can you tell me where I have to turn on correction for QuickTime?
Thousand thanks

Hi, if you have the QT window open simply have to press CTRL + J, then on video track and click Visual Settings pointed at the hook for rausnehmen aspect ratio and in the left box enter 1024. Closing the window and now you have your video in the 16:9 format!

And how can I make it auto correct aspect ratio display? I mean, if the file I give someone else that is not surprising, as the looks, but has the right balance?
Thank you very much synonymous.

In this case, always store in square pixels. Not every player takes into account the pixel aspect ratio and you never know what software the respective receiver.
