Hi,
I have a 4:3 source material to which I above and below have placed black bars for 16:9. Compressor spits me from a 16:9 video, but still above and below the bars hatt and extremely distorted.
I'm looking for a possibility of the black bars cut off to "real" to get 16:9.
I'm grateful for any help!

You open your NLE in a 16:9 project or timeline. There Reinhartshausen throws thy untreated 4:3-clip and resize it to 134%, making it to the correct width brings. Unfortunately, this is for me a little more complicated because it is a project Multiclip cameras with 4 turns. 3 of which are 4:3 + beams, the fourth is 16:9 + dragged the top and bottom so it looks like.

I've just completed a much quicker method discovered with Compressor. In the output settings can be sent by "padding" the Picture Cut and leads straight to the desired result;)

According to your last post I see your movie as follows: When playing as the Windows Media Player is the window basically 16:9. 3 / 4 of all the settings are formatfüllend is 16:9, but 1 / 4 of the settings are just so with 4:3 and bars. Or synonymous exactly reversed: The film is a total of 4:3, comes in the 4:3-high window in the player, but the 3 / 4 16:9-settings on both sides just happen to be pruned.
Contrary to your statement that the film has already completed one (cut) and was simultaneously mixed footage from three 16:9-shares and a 4:3 proportion, there is unfortunately no sense!
