Hello Jens,
You sit to play the one-MiniDV camcorder tapes the same, who recorded the tapes? You can use the sound with 16-bit s.Camcorders error messages (built-in speaker / analog connection: audio, headphones)?

When playing s.Camcorders you hear the sound perfectly normal no preference whether 12 or 16 bits.
During the test I have run the sound I can hear when the import to the PC.
He consistently runs s.der Camera and s.PC is on 16Bit Final!
Have still another synonymous Firewire cable benutztber
-> Same crap!!

I have a similar problem with Avid solved as follows:
Before the switch recording the Project on 16 mar 12 bits. (audio settings)
Exporting the Sound and with Wavelab, etc. convert to 16 bit ..
Perhaps what helps!

Hello Jens,
how it ended? - If nothing else has helped, dubbing the film on an analog connection. That is a pity, but the loss of quality remains entirely within bounds.
