Hello lighting professionals,
I am amateur videographer with a DV camcorder and search for a solution how to party well-lit pictures and can make at a reasonable price. Professional equipment, we want to but in no case, rent, or the purchase, since we otherwise this hobby is too expensive.
Until now we have always, during the recordings (mostly in apartments) with approximately 1000 W halogen lamps (site lighting) against the ceiling and blasted with one to two 150 watt spotlights and Lee hand-diffusion film the objects and people in front of the lens in addition lit. With the quality, I was (amateur) quite happy. The eyes shone, there was never a noise or the need to gain zuzuschalten and there were no synonymous overflow of images (Blooming), as the lighting with the hand-lamps always well marked. Nevertheless, this method is far from optimal, because the halogen lamps in hand the building will be extremely hot and it is only a matter of time before that at some times when an accident happens. My question:

I already have a specific rotation with neon tubes (2000 watts, enough for an entire SUV on a stage auszuleuchten) behind me, video is important for the lamps on electronic control units (very expensive!) With 40kHz activated, otherwise it may be in Picture flicker. Even the color is not quite optimal and needs with filter screens in front of the tube or a filter in front of a little Optics (Green) will be corrected. I love the soft, cold light, but in each building are a few tubes of Transportation broken.
Also, these lights about a quarter of an hour before turning to warm up, then right light brightness and color ....

The thing with the neon tubes is known to me. There would be as synonymous as Osram a particular model, which gets you in the construction, which unfortunately has only 18 watts.
18 W fluorescent tube:
Osram L 18 W/12-950 (5000 Kelvin)
However, Neonleuchten or fluorescent tubes are not necessarily as a light hand for a party use.
A 40 kHz controller, I can unfortunately not afford. Wast it really makes it. Did what with the 50 hertz frequency power to do?
Is there really are not synonymous, the possibility of cost-effective to work with DC? Energy-saving lamps, there would be yes for this.
