Hello,
I have an HDV recording 1440x1080x25i as MPEG stream. This I would like to ideally 1440x540x50p AVI (convert to XVid).
The problem is that all my attempts have failed because not be separated as the two fields, but still be blended the two fields, and are then stored as two images. But I want just a clean separation of the fields so

I tried Procoder and Vegas 6, interlacing on-and off, it just serves no purpose.
Someone an idea?

Hmm, I am now a day with interlacing busy, some hinzugelernt and now offers all here at the workflow, so that counterfeiters do not need everything to try again.
Starting material was a clip-HC1, MT stream of Virtual Dub can not be read, synonymous AVI Synth can not handle it (at least I have not figured out how).

I use this method even with analogue recordings, and it looks normally, with one bissle rework, quite useful for (for analog) ..
