Hello, I am planning a documentary and have the Panasonic DVX 100 AU. I would rotate in 25p mode, but will be synonymous material used in 50i mode is rotated. Is it possible without both losses in a project to edit? I work with Premiere 1.5.
Thanks for your answers

It will certainly not be a problem to edit and the quallie of the material is synonymous not suffer anything. However, later in the film somewhat, well very unique look.

Thanks for the info, was important only to me, which makes it technically works. There are only a few sequences 50i material which was then synonymous of very good quality is erhlich times and said, let's see who it then remembers.

John, please do not reply if you have too little clue.
If you are in the timeline 25p set are Apertures / transitions / compositing as expected on whole images and not on half-images such as 50i. 25p material is technically 50i material, which includes logical 25i. This means that there is technically no difference, but visually, just as the movement is a different representation. If you have a 25p project, create, you have allowed the fewest problems. In a 50i project, the apertures of the 25p material looks funny.

I think that is synonymous not correct powermac, premiere 2.0 can only edit interlaced. ie if you 25p importierst converts it to interlaced order. when you export then the choice between 25p or 50i. This is probably synonymous with upgrade from 1.5 to. cs3 how it is I do not know.

Hello Catchafire, thanks for the info, but still have problem understanding. Does this mean that when the 25p material imported into the project again in 50 fields will be divided and then when you export back in 25 frames will be changed? Or am I completely mistaken? Perhaps you can explain to me again.

Antwort von PowerMac:
No.. Premiere in this release may very well be interlaced material editing. It is in the sequence settings, even the manual Haldbilddominanz to "not" make. An edit of 25p is in principle always possible, because, as I said in 50i, 25p or 25i (25i is the new name for 50i) packed. A "conversion" of interlaced to progressive is therefore nonsense, because technically 25i corresponds 25p.

It is no division, no change. 25p DV are only progressive pictures in a 50i stream.
