Hi! What is the difference between 24p and 25p? Would you filming for a documentary with 24 or 25 fps? Are there any errors that might occur if one were to watch a movie with 25p s.Television? I thank you in advance ...

Hello Seth, If the goal is TV, or TV via DVD are 25 pictures cheaper. The frames are displayed only on certain cable connections (eg, YUV) and only with players with progressive mode, and then only on synonymous TFT, Plasma and certain video projector as such. On normal CRT TV, but we noticed no difference from interlaced images. 24p corresponds to the standard of analog film projectors. If a scan done on film, the recording type is somewhat more favorable, although the exception of the term subjective is no difference to 25 images can be detected. Many films, with the video and 25 pictures were taken (eg, "The Edukators"), are shown in the movies in 24 fps, although modern projectors are switched. As I said, no difference. How then do actually 24 frames out to 50 Hz - TVs? What factors are important when cutting example in terms of synchrony with the sound? Are cut-and DVD authoring Programs really compatible with this recording type? To these questions I would have liked an answer in terms of possibly buying a new HD-Cam with 24 frames (the Panasonic HGX-200).

Hello Seth,
the answer to the question about the frame rate (24 or 25) and the display type (interlaced or progressive) is derived from the target format: = 24p Film, Video (PAL) = 50i or 25p.
25p is the very height of fashion, but not everywhere, this format is useful to use. Some videographers use this format only because it is technically possible. At 25p tube TVs can not always convince, for example, contribute (fast) movements rather choppy.
If the target format is a video file on the computer, then 25p is of advantage, because computer monitors display images progressively.
The best result on (tube) TVs can be reached with 50i, also with 50 fields in the

That depends, you see above are able to do the shoot as the big players. As stated above fast movements look like on a TV at 25p rather modest. You will be very entäuscht. Or maybe you like the grown films, which in fact know how to film can not be had at this abgehacken fast movements. But this requires great skill and experience.
If you 25p movie like you're used to it with 50i you will be disappointed by the result very much.
