Frage von Bijan:
Hi!
I recorded several times with a camera about two-hour concert on a SDHC card. Since the concert, I subsequently with Adobe premiere pro cs 4 Camera Multi function needs to cut through, I recorded the concert s.Stück, so turn off without the cameras. Yet I was on jder map several files, each file still 3.99 GB. This means that the camcorder creates a new file to 3.99 GB. I've recorded with the Pansonic SD 707 to each of a 32 GB SDHC Kartevon San Disk with 30 MBit per second.
Question: Can you set the camcorder so that it can have any file "s.Stück" receives, or is it normal that after 3.99 GB is always created a new file and it can not be prevented?

Antwort von RickyMartini:

No, because 4GB is the limit for FAT-formatted disks.
On the camcorder can not change the effect.
Antwort von Wechiii:

NTFS would support such a thing. Whether the Camera / SD card can. I do not know.

Antwort von RickyMartini:

NTFS is a proprietary file system of Microsoft, the IMO of the camcorder manufacturers would have to be specially licensed.
Antwort von srone:

if the manufacturer would be on cam-ntfs swirling had the apple-user a problem, is the lowest common denominator fat32 between windows and apple.

Well, yes. Apple can read NTFS but not just write out of the house! But I'm such a tool that allows s.Mac synonymous :-)
