It is indeed Billigcamcorder which accept already-HD, but with 30 fps, while my Videocam record 50i or 25p. In my timeline, I always say I work in such an appropriate default setting - usually 50i. Now if I where a video clip of a camera with 30 fps would have put into them this clip but slower (?) Running towards the shots in 50i. Now I have a Storm HD with HDMI input. What would happen if I capture of such a Billigheimer with 30 fps via HDMI in Edius? If the hardware will account for 30 fps 25?
Background of the question is that I was considering the purchase of concert recordings for example, a third camera. For static clips could indeed be a bit cheaper.

Edius does the conversion probably on the basis of Frameblending without motion estimation. If it is not just still pictures, because you are converting, you realize the conversion with a trained eye, of course, immediately. Whether it's enough to your needs, you need to know - but try it a try - the network is full of a look of 30p video - eg views on YouTube or Vimeo.
