If automatic just in case. Nervt mostly because they, for example, in a letterbox umspringt spot. Picture bar with left and right but it is usually synonymous and the only option, a 4:3-Picture largely complete and accurate view.

On the remote control. What actually is offered depends on the Manufacturer or Model from: Some Manufacturer offering a so-called "Panoramic Zoom," the picture in the middle of fewer, more in s.Rand Width pulls. This is of course entirely in the pants. Usefully, the format settings 4:3 (with left and right bars), 14:9 (middle, mostly tolerable Ausschnittsvergrö0ßerung, narrow bar to the left and right) and zoom (letterbox for 16:9 broadcasts, such as movies).

No..

It all depends of your device. I can by my menu if I want to have the beams, or whether the picture in the width is drawn.
The analog signal is (I think) image in a pulse line 23 to indicate whether the picture is 4:3 or 16:9. The public broadcasters are using and switching work. In the private sector seems to (at least in Berlin cable) so not to run. Since I have the manual settings (zoom), whom I 16:9-Fime without bars above and below will enjoy .....
The 4:3 picture of tuner would look exactly like the DVD of 4:3. However, it is possible that the settings for the tuner reception and external inputs are separately adjustable.
More should be found in the manual or by trying to identify.

Those who are still on analog reception is dependent (ie vsLeute today with analog cable), it quite often used for remote control access to any item for the correct format. The automatic zoom, which offer television, works only unreliable (eg a channel logo in the bar area is rated as image content and prevents the automatic zooming). Whether the in Örs become better resolved, I can not say (no longer have cable TV any more). Regardless of which you get with analog reception only a minimalist 16:9; in reality it is only 4:3 with black bars, ie the usable Resolutionist significantly reduced. Unfortunately, the retailers in terms of formats and show little exemplary demonstration s.ihren often distorted images (4:3 to 16:9 withdrawn) or false aufgezoomte images (for example, where the top half of the head of a person and below the insertion of missing letters ).
Richtig schön is only 16:9-Television, in conjunction with digital reception, whether it is DVB-T, DVB-S or DVB-C. Even the image quality that is available on an LCD television over a digital receiver and a good RGB or YUV connection gets is significantly higher than that which built the analog tuner can provide. With the format switching synonymous, there is no problem as long as the station broadcast the format is correct: In Auto mode, 4:3 broadcasts with black bars left and right, however, 16:9-screen broadcasts played. Both of course in correct proportions. Just work the synonymous when one of DVD playing. The current practice is different from anything else, unfortunately. While the public service and RTL most broadcasts in the correct broadcast format, hang Sat1, Pro 7 and the other individuals still in the 4:3-era finds. They radiate 16:9-Sendunden with black bars above and below, indicating the correct switching Television 16:9-a 'cinema mice showed that beams s.allen four sides. One must then, as with analog reception, manual zoom control via remote. But this is a temporary problem, hopefully someday be the digitabe all stations broadcast technology under control.

I did not know that there are between analog and digital broadcasting such differences in the automatic format display there. What kind of concrete information needs because the DVB-supplied signal, that it works correctly?

No info ... You ask s.Receiver of whether you have a 16:9 or 4:3 Television searched, the receiver then takes the appropriate signal if any of the stream. (in the stream channels are good for both videos in it ... once again Letterboxed and 16:9 if I am not mistaken.)

It must be simple in 4:3 or 16:9 broadcast. These two aspect ratios were s.Teil beginning of the DVB standard, so there is no problem as PAL, which originally was designed for 4:3.
However, there are currently synonymous digital transmitters only 4:3 (with black bars if necessary, ie letterbox) from, in addition, there are in the archives seem to have many tapes of older movies broadcast in letterbox format, so synonymous with RTL, ARD, ZDF and the third time and again "improper" appearance occurs.
A Umschaltsignal in the case of a 4:3-letterbox movie an automatic zooming effect, there is no DVB.
