Frage von Barsanuph:Hi All,
I have a 4GB-great film that is due to arrive in a few days abroad, and because the post does not work anymore, I would like to send it via FTP.
Does anyone know maybe a Berlin internet cafe with high-speed access, offering such services, or a library?
Thanks and best regards

An upload of this magnitude can take ... Have just done the math:
To upload 4 GB, one needs arithmetically (ie, if no bottlenecks occur) ...
... 18.6 hours with 512 kbps (eg T-DSL 6000).
... 9.3 hours with 1024 kbps (eg T-DSL 16000).
... 4.7 hours with 2048 kbps (eg cable Germany Flat Comfort)
So impossible is not synonymous of residential communication, and faster than UPS, it would be anyway.
