Hello,
Just once wrote to Canon and got this as an answer.
Currently we do not have specific information on an update. If the camera can be improved by next update, so Canon is we take this step you can only name a firm date yet.

It is not guaranteed an upgrade, probably even more. Just too much because that Canon s.Moviemode extended - that's what I think not ...

I still think that if the frame rate etc is purely a software update, then Canon will repair the.
To me it is really no preference, we use 3 x Canon 5D and 7D are synonymous in terms of us grow, at least once one - but it had just been a great thing and it just saves time if you footage of the 5D not only must konvetieren .
