Dear Liquid-7-user,
cutting for the new machine (MB-P35, E6750, 3xHD ..., XP Pro, Liquid 7.2) I still missing the right GraKa
quiet. For Avid / Pinnacle, I found the answer to a question after Liquid-7 and DX-10 cards: "Those kind of graphic cards can not be used. You will experience render errors and performance problems."
The list of certified Avid cards called only
old maps (7 x ATI, Nvidia 2 x).
So, my question, what's with NX7950-GT, 7900-GT/GS, X1950 Pro, comes the answer:
"... It is believed that little problem with the ATI X1950 Pro successor model will emerge, guarantee ... this is not. ..." Nvidia to no word, apparently prefers Avid ATI cards (which is synonymous in the Avid forum can read).
Actually I wanted to 512MB MSI NX7950GT-EZ VT2D512 (passive), which is now only around 300 euros to get (if ever), and this seems to me overpriced. As alternatives for low cards, I found only:
- Asus Extreme AX X1950Pro/HDTP 256MB,
- PowerColor X1950Pro SCS3, 256MB, passive,
- Club 3D X1950Pro, 256 MB, passive,
- Sapphire Ultimate X1950Pro, 256MB,
unfortunately not with 512 MB.
Question: Has anyone experience (pos. / neg.) With these cards, what should I take? Or has someone other / better suggestions?

synonymous if there is already a while ago is that the issue Oburs graphics card and Avid Liquid 7.2 has so interested me now synonymous, because I cut myself a new computer and want to have growth for a while so rumrecherchiere. It would be really nice if someone his Erahrungen could pass. Maybe yes Oburs the issue resolved now?

Hello Bluethroat,
because of the info "do not use DX-10 cards," and so it was a new system with X1950Pro. But not yet used - too much to do. Will probably only in a few weeks in order to start and then report back.
System:
P5KR, E6750, X1950Pro SCS3, 2 x 2GB, HD 320,320,500, CM Extreme 430W, XP2-Prof.

Working times goes into Liquid forum, there is the issue of graphics card with 7.2 AL has often been treated.

After the development of Liquid apparently ceased, there will be little further recommendations for newer graphics cards anymore. What is certain is that the ATI X. ..- s.der series from 1600 to 1900 worked without problems.

How to get the working NLE can read, but seems s.der developing a patch for 7.2 worked, particularly because of the graphics card problem. The information comes from there perfectly reliable source and are of 21.2.
However, it is synonymous talk of developing a "Newgen" product with Pinnacle. There is really no preference as to whether the then Liquid 8 states or a different name. Interesting (besides stability) but rather the scope, dealing with existing projects and the handling.
