Hi
Lots of forums that revolve around this theme. The fast search has spat out my first no results.
CONTEXT The Project was created in 1080p (rotated on the Red and partly on the EX1). Problem was that here and there, unfortunately, the EX1 was set to 720p and that's escaped us.
QUESTION Do you know a possible mild form of the material to convert 720p to 1080p.
APPS Prof Final Cut, After Effects CS4 or CS4 Pr
Would be happy if you know a solution ...

Have you maybe already gained experience with the scaling filter of VirtualDub. According to my information should not be synonymous to so bad.
And what about with the Lanczos3 scaling filter ... Someone that experience?

It depends Vonder recordings and the preferred impression of the viewer. Try it just once those filters and in Comparison to even pick one cubic resampling filters and for his own impression.
There are other procedures that pose a more traditional resampling and are computationally much. You may be more appropriate depending on the situation (better Interpolatioon of contours / edges). How important is it?

The Project is a corporate video - as seen important, but it is at den720p recording only short image distances, therefore, would be computationally intensive scaling processes are not so bad. We have the corresponding synonymous Calculator available.
I only with this issue as such (rescaling) no experience and am grateful for your support.
In general, it seems so synonymous with the Compressor (FCS) to provide opportunities for very good results to come. Or how about Red Giants with maintenance HD plugin?
TheBubble - I have not yet tried these codecs'm so still on the search - would be glad if you have a suggestion ... A friend said that even the normal scaling in AE leads to good results, I somehow can not quite believe.

There is no way you s.sich video scaled up so that it looks as if it were the beginning of s.1080p. Not even close.
However, there are various scaling algorithms that operate more or less well. Furthermore, there are various other methods of the Picture in fact look better (keyword "Super Resolution").
This whole process takes but a lot of experience and above all examples of files of your practice Page (to be able to). I concern myself with and would help you accordingly - but I earn my money so synonymous and would not make synonymous charge.

use the most "normal" Programs variations conventional downsampling. There are other methods that are much more computationally intensive and can look better - but this need not always be the case. There are just a subjective component synonymous.
What can the commercial specialty programs for a better scaling internal one, if the Manufacturer is announced by the procedure itself, usually only guess.
Since you probably do not want to even deep into the matter, I can only suggest as many Programs / Plugins scalability and try the subjectively right Enste select.

Thanks for the info with the mail - I've adapted. Okay - tomorrow I will see what it s.guten resampling-codecs are too vernünftgen prices, how good the results look with FCS Compressor, rescaling with AE and the various free-resampling plugins / codecs, to assess, what now the best practice (under price performance point of view) is.
