basically no. A separate lane effect no longer exists.
You can search, of course, still work in different tracks - only visors, etc. are not moved to a separate track, but overlapping directly to the clip. Advantage: You have practically not only A / B, but A / B / C / D / E / F. . . c. editing. The thing you previously could only make the effect track, you can now apply in any lane. A huge advantage.
