A review Sony DCR-DVD403 Hello,
here my first report of SonyDCR-DVD403 camcorder.
Goods has been received by me, used carton open, controls everything, Battery, DVD-RW, inserted, your camcorder turned on and losgefilmt. First, the interior later on the terrace. Overall, about 3 minutes
Now let finalize DVD (read takes about 7min) to them in the DVD Player. DVD in, the menu was almost there, Track select And. .... Loved very good picture (.... was out of my expectations) ... DVD to PC ... and .. hmmm .... played using DVD Shrink on the PC and open with Ulead Media Studio Pro hurts ..... oh, what was that ..... between the individual images appear to some to be missing. After a closer look I noticed that only every 12th picture is saved. That makes a post actually impossible. In addition, the format of the film is already strong (MPEG2) compressed, so that after cutting, dubbing etc. The quality will still be a lot worse.
Conclusion: This is Geraät perfectly suited for people who do not have computer or want to further process the material is not synonymous s.PC.
It has cut synonymous with the camcorder and the ability to insert scenes. But unfortunately you get only one DVD in MPEG2 format. Too bad ......

the user guide for the HC90 features anamorphic, so "real" at 16:9. The folding screen is obviously synonymous 16:9, whereby the image control is possible over the entire display surface. According to these aspects, I would assume that the image intensifier also has an aspect ratio of 16:9.

an anamorphic 16:9 picture appears on a 4:3-Television stretched in the Height. In current TV units can be adjust to 16:9 but the format (-> black bars above and below). As far as I know you can preset the format of the TV synonymous in the menu of HC90, so synonymous (older) 4:3-switching devices without a proper 16:9 Picture show.
And what, after processing, editing, DVD authoring from. In principle, the same way the data are indeed not changed. Many editing programs can also adjust the preview window to 16:9, so that the video images are shown (on the computer monitor) in the correct aspect ratio.
Comfortable it is later in the DVD: The DVD player knows the menu by default, the format of the television is connected and how he should behave in different formats. 16:9 images are displayed on a 4:3-Television (synonymous without Switching) in the correct aspect ratio - usually with black bars above and below (-> Letter).

I bought the DVD403E half a year ago and am overwhelmed of the quality and Handhabeung.
I know not what you had for problems. I work with DVD-RW discs, which I just rüberkopiere and put into the PC. Then I edit the Sequnzen in Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0. with an absolute best quality. I'm a fan of 16:9 and those who have seen my films are very impressed!

But I have a problem with the Dolby Digital.
Because is not recognized in PP2, only stereo ....
In Picture Package is Dolby so far.
Someone ne idea how to import the konveriteren / ..
