Reminds me s.meine childhood with the rattling Bauer 16mm optical sound projector, the TCT was the role (film of Science in Education and Teaching or so a bumpy teutschen acronym), with a Sielmann-nature film about (voice-over, as He had a clothespin on his nose). There were probably more than 2 days of shooting in the game, sometimes to say nothing of the weeks of editing. Very soothing the meticulousness, precision and indeed the whole effort.
The result is impressive and has indeed now been made synonymous Youtube a very different basis than before spreading the film club and yes exactly the most beautiful experience is an amateur filmmaker, if his "children" of others will be considered favorably.

Rolf is so synonymous Amateur - I think anyway. But his films are considered very beautiful. You can tell that he has worked intensively with the matter (research, implementation in Film and comment).
An amateur, I am as synonymous, has always the freedom to look for a niche alongside the mainstream. What is described here, some as old-fashioned style and the stop became Rolfs actually not bad. In the professional television we see today much worse things.
So synonymous of my thumbs up for Rolf;)
