In slashCAM there is no function to a specific user to send a message. Questions that belong in the forum, because they might be interested concern, perhaps synonymous others / I ask in the forum ask. This has the advantage that they can contribute with all their ideas and proposals.

This is a typical example that several sections equally apply.

You could be in the category "Canon" post, because it relates to the XL1. But you could be generally synonymous in the section "Post Production" ask, because it relates to editing. Or by hardware, because the IEEE1394 interface is affected. Or "mixed" because it is a bit of everything and the issue ninth section can be clearly assigned.

After this reflection, I think the category "mixed" would be probably the best place to
