I'm certainly not in the AE "guru", rather ambitious Beginners, however, flatter myself that I can cope quite well with it. However, I am sitting in front of the screen and come desperately s.einer body is not next.
I'll just describe my composition:
Multiple levels in each level, a point with the Pen tool creates. It will look like almost like a handwritten word.
For each level, the effect of these letters "Trapcode 3D Stroke" (angwendet a plug-in). In order to build the characters as if they are actually hand-s.Screen.
Now I want all of these letters the Effect Kreuseln total of use. Well prepared adjustment layer, positioned over the letter and levels applied to the effect "Kreuseln.
Result -> do not see any effect on.
No other effect shown in this way effect.
Do I use "Kreuseln" on a single character level, it works, however.
So I thought it is a fault in the composition. New Comp prepared to try out. One level with scribble on an adjustment layer with irgenteinem Effect. Not work again!
It's actually quite easy with these adjustment layers, at least if I can not believe the AE help, but for me works just do not.
The only thing I can influence with an adjustment layer is the "transformation" synonymous, but only if I define Parent setting level ".
Maybe you can help me so my flaw found?

You should build such projects differently. The various plug ins have different modes. You'll mess very quickly a mask the other. Now hold on tight. After systematic Next, I found out that it was s.der composition setting.
in OpenGL mode, it does not go in Standart3D or Erweitertem3D mode to do it.
