| APP 550D / Excel - Best Settings
Question of pete1234:
Hello
I was looking in my garden and have a branch in the wind filmed. goal was in effect after a branch with follow "tracker".
I have done the following settings in advance.
1. white balance with a white paper 2. watch in zebra magic lantern 3. DEPTH hoods minimize 4. Tripod take 5. Picture Style neutral 6. exposure time
and a setting was wrong ... I have the exposure time set to 1/50s.
when I rendered the first time the clip, there was a blurry representation. I would definitely want to take a time exposure of 1 / 250 or 1 / 500, so that the film is sharp.
Now my question. would not it be useful an app / excel-table, develop, reminiscent of the amateur s.diese settings?
- Best ISO presentation select - (160 - 320 - 640 - 800th ..) - Exposure time - slow motion - Sect - mean motion. b - White Balance - Daylight - Shade - Cloudy, Custom WB, etc.
I'm not a professional and wants to be synonymous None, but I'm interested in the topic of film with dslr. for amateurs that means just when there is no camcorder is desired, the settings will be remembered s.diese.
is there somewhere as a "program" comparable with http://www.dofmaster.com/dofjs.html
Greetings

So fast or slow is always a question of relativity, as has already run some time ago, Albert Einstein in detail. Basically: The tracking is a shorter exposure time getting better. How short the exposure time can be selected depends primarily on the available light. There are simply situations that can be mapped contours is not clean, because there is insufficient light or the movement is too fast. It is synonymous little sense to the ISO value to drift around forever, since the image quality suffers thereby dramatically. So there is no single formula or a commonplace. I would even s.1/250 and orientation depending on light conditions, and movement speed can be varied this value up or down. Just do a test series and enter the Sequence s.der Camera again. By "Press Pause" can the resulting motion blur good judge.
Alternatively, the tracking in some situations by a camera mounted on the Microsoft Kinect controller and do that is attached to notebook on the ground. The advantage: It has been synonymous equal the depth of information that's needed for example for compositing.

Thanks for the answer.
"Shorter exposure time is always better", but unfortunately I did not considered.
iso choose, I become aware of these 160 -320 - 640th series ..
as I said, I am not a professional, but interested s.thema film.
I'm looking for just a tool that I s.die "best settings" recalls. of course there is no "best exposure time" or "best blind selection". is always the situation, certainly. wants direction values only, the rest "says" my 550D
will just be reminded of what I have set, as I said, 'm not a professional who has raised with the mother's milk.

will just be reminded of what I have set, as I said, 'm not a professional who has raised with the mother's milk. Even professionals have to remember ;-) - so you do before every spin a plan what you want to do such. Those who dare to without a plan s.eine complex object is to land only a fluke. Of course, experience plays a big role in this regard - many rookie mistakes can be contained by and after. Nevertheless synonymous pros happens every now and then a serious blunder.

ok, I did not realize that professionals are synonymous with these problems "dealing" must.
I am aware of some professional cameras, but only in name. the settings that need to be carried out are unknown to me.
said, had "only" a eos 550d, but I think that is a "Settingtstool" to commemorate a market niche is ... punish me lie ...

Can you still create a small table that ought to be sufficient. Why do you want a program for it?
Reply pete1234:
yes, I could.
but I am not very good in programming excel / google-crome-and apps in. would simply like a program that I s.die "best" settings remembered. 'm happy for it to invest a few euros ...
