Frage von martinz:Hi,
I am trying without success to digitize VHS Movies
VHS> Canon MV960> pc
:-( Something is wrong with the first step
I have a SCART IN anxious times (as per instructions); of the white-out with the included cable (yellow, red on one Page - only yellow on the other, know me as not really) into the AV socket of camcorder.
VHS was in play, the MV960 in the recording mode (rec / pause) - similar to the Forum for the MV650i described, but the screen stayed blue (both AV> DV on and off). In "rec" began to run the DV tape and the red recording point was s.Schirm.
Unfortunately, however, during subsequent playback of the DV tape is synonymous only to see "blue" too.
Why do I get no signal on the camera screen?
please - thank you
Martin
Antwort von Markus:
Hello Martin,
it is an AV signal to s.Camcorders? Otherwise I would have advised you to take a switchable scart plug. By doing this you could be adjusted in each case the right signal direction.

Thanks Mark ... 've returned today to the SCART IN and worried a switchable times. When I get an OUT signal and can easily be looped through to the PC. The instructions ("... you are using a SCART adapter with input function ...") seems to me to be misleading.
Liebe Grüße
Martin
ps: Did first-day view that you needed only 2min for a response. Best time!

The instructions ("... you are using a SCART adapter with input function ...") seems to me to be misleading. How misleading is it not at all. Look here:
About Scart inputs and outputs However, there seems to enforce a new regulation (why always synonymous):
(Find the article anymore. Who knows what I mean and perhaps even a link there?)

Hello,
They say that it now works beautifully. Could you possibly tell about the quality of shots and then made of the camera as a whole. Find me just a camera and am just met with them.
Thank you very much
