Yes, either. Mts (directly above card to HDD) or. M2ts (camcorder via USB and with ImageMixer imported).

A capture process as in HDV (read the tape), there is as such not really more. You can use the AVCHD files into an intermediate format (usually AVI) change if the PC is not .mts/.m2ts liquid can represent, if you like. This gibts appropriate transcoder software, or is on Edius already doing so.

Can I just confirm. Edius Neo booster cuts AVCHD incredibly smooth. (On a fast PC: i860 Quad, 8 GB RAM, Windows 7 (64 bit)).
