I have recently, a Panasonic HMC-151, which indeed provides AVCHD files. Now I will probably soon have to find a way to convert my HD files in an SD format, because I have to cut a public service broadcaster that operates not just stop in HD. The known transcoding tool of Panasonic DVCPRO HD converts while awake in order - or in DV (What looks in the rest grottig), but would the public be s.liebsten DVCPRO (sd). The station itself has more than a possibility that I immediately follow my camera and play my video and there almost 1:1 to include in the server system. But this can not be the solution. Is there any software that does something like?

Edius 5.5, check out, so that you can usin DVCProHD, DVCPro 50, 25, etc. and convert export. For the HMC 151, Edius recommended anyway, because you cut AVCHD natively, and thus circumvent Quicktime (gamma shift milk veil) can. As crossgrade will cost synonymous not the world.

Yes, I wanted to bring the Rohclips to the transmitter. I myself have four Media Composer at home, which would mean I would have it with the Panasonictool in DVCPRO HD and then convert with the Media Composer transcode again in an SD format. I do not know what impact this has on the quality. And yet another upgrade to Composer 5, only to work directly with AVCHD, I can not afford now.

If the action is, unfortunately, only in Edius Neo Booster. This is the small version of Edius. DVCPro there are 50 - to my knowledge - only in Edius 5.5. Have yourself the Avid MC 5 cut, but my HMC 151 material only give in and out as needed in Edius Canopus HQ, for example, to burn to DVDs. This is in AVCHD IMHO better quality than the Avid import rail ...
