I recently bought a used AVE 55, works perfectly so far, but I have a problem with the Y / C inputs. And although the chroma signal is incredibly pale (; is not s.den cables!), Already almost non-existent. Y / C s.Monitor directly or recorder is ok .. Color saturation is so valued at about 25% ...
I know now test pictures were important, I do that synonymous soon ..
My question is this normal for Panasonic so pale Y / C or who has never used the AVE55 with Y / C, then it would have the complaints abound here have hailed ..

The device can be looped through the S-video signal?
If so, buckle s.den output of your mixer, recorder s.and check whether the picture is better.
If so, then probably missing a terminator, a so called "terminator".

No can be looped through with not Panasonic AVE55. The picture itself does not typically know the wrong impedance problems (only black and white or washed out) on. But maybe after all this is the dog, if not somewhere else ..
Luminance is in order, creates at least the 400 lines as in the manual (estimated in Comparison to FireWire DV 576 lines) (It is PAL 50i, so half the progressive power)
But maybe I somehow manage to me to play with termination, although the test track at about 10 cm and without T-bonds is kind of pointless, let alone terminated the each target device and not with I-yourself cable .. But perhaps what is so ...
Suffice it synonymous already a colorbar on RECOUT issue without input. Chroma signal is driven simply few. The menu can be indeed turned Chroma Level (CVBS is oversteer s.der hard limit, Y / C comes on perhaps 30%)
Maybe my question is simply whether there is anyone who ever Consumer Mixer with Y / C is gone, and so I could deliver reviews ..
I've heard everywhere only praise for the mixer, so I've a long wait before I could even strike in the e-bay ;-)
Because I wanted when I first in 2011 can afford a used video mixer (Live DV Mixer is not there), not necessarily fall into the year than the 1985 to 1995 but ..;-) ;-)
Would be nice if those who knew what before I start 4 x 50m Y / C cable to tinker with amplifier / buy ...
PS. If it if interested. The RS232 remote control works fine, I've already started to build a show control system for mobile phones in order with Bluetooth / Wi-Fi adapter and control of the stage, or eg. me to get a touch screen, the composite video inputs pass through a 8-fold HongKong splitter video surveillance with VGA output and tap on it to drive through automatic Wipe / Mix .. Yeah I digress ..;-)
