Antwort von Markus:
Hello Bernd,
regarding the best possible quality: AVI (*)
To create a
DVD Video: MPEG2
* If you are the data of your (digital?) Camcorders unchanged transferring to the calculator, you will receive a so-called DV-AVI, that is an AVI file, the contents of the specification of digital video corresponds. This format can be easily edited and can then be output for example, in MPEG2 compressed format.

'm sincere thanks for your quick Antwort.Yes it is a digital camcorder (Panasonic NV-GS75).
I just do not understand why when I transferred to the calculator (I think that is catur?) Can then have the program select one of these three species.
Any reasonable person would have to make sure but here I make a AVI or fallacy?
Warm regards
Bernd
Antwort von Stefan:
No, not a flaw. At least not in principle ;-)
We might want to select one of the MPEGs, if one does not plan to cut the video of the camera yet, or if there is no other way of converting AVI to MPEG, or if there is no room for AVI files, and if a VideoCD (MPEG1) or make a video DVD (MPEG2) wants.
Will you still want to cut or are still struggling with higher-quality MPEG video encoders s.das manages to be the original data only as a DV AVI on the calculator makes the post (post processing) and then calculated into the target format) at (encoding.
Good luck
The fat Stefan
