Help! Perhaps you can help me. I despair slowly. I have the following problem:
I have my Sony-camera (DSR-300 DVCAM) s.eine DVDXpressDX2 box connected via S-Video and photographic material as recorded in my computer. And indeed in divx format with mpeg4 compression. It's because the avi file I've imported into Pinnacle Liquid 6th The problem is the Pinnacle of the file while in New FX show, but the file is not happening. Sometimes the sound is heard but a Picture is not visible.
Something's wrong. Programs such as Magix even get out something like that. Does anyone here the problem?? On the calculator can not lie, who is only 6 months old and very powerful.

Hi Gerald,
the capturing of DVCAM in DivX format is really a disadvantage, especially if the recordings are to be reworked. DivX is a terminus for digital data, not the beginning of the postpro.
The only way now is still with a playback device, which supports the DVCAM format. The material then I can import via firewire directly to Liquid. Does the DSR-300 as not Firwire interface? That would surprise me, however. Alternatively, many Sony consumer camcorder can play back DVCAM, even if it is not documented in the manual.

Unfortunately, the DSR-300 has no Firewire port. Only the models s.der DSR-370 have this interface. I solved the problem already, and now use a consumer camera (with firewire) of Panasonic to play along in Liquid. If I had to know to play the consumer can DVCAM cameras I could have saved me some sleepless nights. Well afterwards it is always wiser.
But I have now again a new problem. You do not know you from accidentally with Pinnacle Liquid?
