Hello,
I have MAGIX Video Deluxe 2007 plus.
I have a long AVI on the disc and want to make a
Part rausschneiden, so that the file is shorter but the
retains its original format settings. How do I
as before? With the menu "File-> Export Movie> Video as AVI ..."
does that somehow because I am not the right settings
do not think (the test I with a short AVI .... the
AVI has never exported the same file length) - I do not want to
manipulate only cut. Is this possible?

If I avifile in zb PowerDirector cut and then save as avi wants, then the file is 3x as large

Read first time from the codec with which the video was created.
Video Inspector can be so what, is free.
Then check whether your program supports the codec.
