Frage von hrgig3r:Hello,
We're sitting here just for our Project s.einem FH and are quite Beginners or rather what AVID DV editing in general.
The copying, and cutting etc. It all works perfect. We are now s.dem point that we have created a sequence is part of our complete movie.
Now, to our problems:
1. I would like to reprocess the Project to hire at home yet. Which files and folders should I save it so I can continue at home with Avid.
2. I try desperately to export the Project. If I take the AVI file is huge in size (5m 1Gb) but the Qualitiät is really lousy.
I will try to export via Quicktime Reference File, the course pretty small, but if I try to play then I have always in movement such "spikes" s.den edges. I've already found a few references to "video mixdown" etc, so I could not fix my problem unfortunately.
, To our Project and what it should be:
It's about an interview which will be integrated into a Flash Movie. We would be very grateful if someone could tell us, perhaps we need to do when you export.
Unfortunately s.der FH is nobody we can ask.
Thank you in advance ....

Hello,
I know Avid but not personally, but the workflow is in the postpro really always the same.
Which files and folders should I save it so I can continue at home with Avid. To continue s.einem Calculator to others that require the project file and all files that are accessed in the Project. They are video files, songs, pictures, graphics, music, narration, etc. (ie virtually) everything. ;-)
... always in movement such "spikes" s.den edges. You have viewed an interlace video on a progressive output device. This leads to such "spikes", but is no fundamental quality problem of the file. Video recordings will be optimally assessed s.einem video monitor. Learn More:

only had time to thank you for your response.
the problem is now but the video so I need to watch it in flash in the internet and there need to be able to somehow strip away.
Just how that is now the question ...
Antwort von Markus:
If the output is only s.Computermonitor, you have to deinterlace the material.

Net I know whether the answer comes too late for you, but I thought I post it a try.
So, as my predecessor has already said, you really need ale data port Avid, s.besten is if you have the whole hard drive ausbaust! :-)
And now for export, Avid is pretty bad in terms of the export, so you need a Convertierungsprogramm, eg Sorenson Sqeeze or another.
Then when you make your scene in a marrow and a marrow aout ... just what you want to export, then go to Export and then click Quick Time References. It is best if you sound extra exportierst. DU synonymous can safely use the Avid codec.
Before exporting, but make sure it's that you have rendered all the effects, otherwise they will not be exported.
Then you can export it. Now you have an AIFF file (which is the sound) and one mov file, which is the reference, caution, the references is not a real movie file but rather a sort of protocol in the stands just inside where the Convertierungsprogramm the various data herbekommt.
Then you go into your Convertierungsprogramm and the Reference convertierst in the desired format.
Sorenson has already integrated the Flash format, so if you are working with this program you only need to flash more going are (only reference) in the program, wait until it is finished, and lo and behold, the Flash Moie is ready. However .... if you want to present on the Internet, it's better if you have a capable straming Quick Time Movie or doing?
I hope I've helped you!
MfG.

This probably comes inzwishcen really too late but nevertheless:
quite so complicated, it is now again not synonymous. You write that you want to continue working at home with Avid on it. In that case, you need not squeeze or what Sörenson synonymous forever, but need only copy the Richtg data.
This is 1.) OMFI the Media Files folder, the Avid generally invests in each version and in which all the video - and audio data are stored. The course can be relatively large, therefore, as has been said, s.besten with a hard drive (perhaps conveniently carry an external).
And 2.) You must copy the project data, the Project so that you can then synonymous open at home. The project folder you will find under Avid Projects / under the name which You have given to the Project.
So all very easy. Exports from Avid out (Avi etc) often do not work because Avid can not create files that are larger than 2GB. That's kind of a tribute s.früher or what I know. And if you have before, s.einem other Avid system would continue working any other way than that I described above is only of unnecessary trouble and loss of quality.
Have fun cutting,
Vince
