Frage von kernbeat:Hi,
I have now much sought, but did not find what I need. I'm probably synonymous but not in a position to ask the right questions in order to resolve the issue. Even colleagues at the Media Markt and so was the question most zuuuuuuu easy.
Also, it is my first posting here, please see me after if I had it but somehow can find.
I have a Panasonic NV-GS230 and wants the Picture on a PC, and while in fullscreen mode. I will not capture, edit, or so, but just play. For capturing, cutting, editing can I find help in abundance, but not for the simple theme that I think the camera only as a player wants to use.
The reason: I do training, do the sequences with the camera on the wants and then the participants imagine. Not always, there is a projector available (this is easy), so in the future I will take my laptop. The camera has S-Video and Firewire port.
I have two notebooks are available:
1. A Dell Latitude D 630 with Firewire connection
Use me as a connection, I see the video on the screen (that works sometimes), but only very small and not in fullscreen mode. Bring the participants nothing. I go here almost in the Explorer. With the camera software can I return to PC, edit, edit - but I will not only edit the time for investing, but only play. This is synonymous only in the small-picture mode.
2. An older Toshiba Portege 7200 notebook.
Here, I have nothing to test, since no interface. The can I do but as retrofit on PCMCIA.
So, here I missing software? I once read about the free VLC player, I can stream and then put in a live mode. I can not. Others say there is with Windows Movie Maker a possibility. But somehow all is always the topic of "edit" the focus, not the simple play.
So I need software for the Dell? Or, the median of the market, I need a TV card with video - In have. How is this then? And what I need for the old Toshi (is a replacement device, a TV card? But I will not watch TV. Synonymous Or a fire-wire card?)
So, sorry, what is long, but I hope it has become evident.
many thanks in advance
Gruß, Andreas

Your only concern is supposedly simple and banal - because a computer is not simply a monitor, you s.den any player? can (as opposed to television). Since you only through the interfaces of the computer can go, then the Signl always only by the hardware processing before it reaches the monitor!
What you need is a capture software, which in full screen mode can (do not need to "Recording" button, but the signal only durchzuschleifen). This could go as this:

(About Firewire!)
Remember, however, that it may be worse than s.TV looks as TVs and video monitors display differently (Interlace problem resolution ,...).
The solution has a TV card would be very bad way, because the digital stream from the camcorder then be converted to analog (video-out), and then through the card will be digitized ... depending on the card is there only mud left ...

So as easy as you imagine it going, it is unfortunately not.
You want a video camera the picture in full screen on a PC monitor.
Your camera is in PAL Resolutionauf. These are 768x576 pixels.
Your PC monitor but has a much higher resolution. No clue vileicht 1600x1024 or so.
If you have added your PAL video in fullscreen on the PC yes anschaust is a quasi hochskaliert and looks very very ugly from.
