In my experience of using a Quadro FX 580 is no big issue.
I have with me two Calculator, one with the Quadro, the other has a cheap GF 9500GT. In both cases, the OpenGL acceleration in AE is nearly identical. In fact, it comes with the Quadro quite frequent crashes of AE, when OpenGL is enabled.
