Hi,
I have created a film that is almost 3 hours.
I knew that there had to double layer discs ago.
My DVD menu is all prepared, but I know now not really know if it matters whether I use the main movie (; and the DVD menus, which are so synonymous films, with after effects created) in Premiere as MPEG-2 . DVD "should leave out rendering - it then creates the file extension" m2v ", or whether I have the raw files from after effects (; are uncompressed) to import into Encore to and Encore renders the then everything to MPEG-2 format.
My movies I have in the maximum quality (; everything to stop) rendered out as MPEG-2 DVD, so with file extension "m2v".. Is it true that Encore must then encode theoretically nothing about? Does Encore will only contain the files and burns it to disc without further encoding repeated?
So the basic question I have now:
Encore Encore feed with uncompressed files and can render itself to MPEG-2 format?
Or
My movies with Premiere as ". M2v MPEG-2 DVD format and render out to feed and then Encore will then won again in this option instead of an encode of Encore?
About help I would be very grateful!

Maybe you can take care of the one or the other synonymous with this problem:
Since my main movie is almost 3 hours, I thought there would be no problem this movie completely on a double layer, bring to disk (8.5 GB). Encore shows me, however, that the space is not sufficient for it. Even when I've screwed down the quality settings in Encore (; even at the minimum) has the memory screen in Encore is not changed. A bug? How should I know how far I have down with the quality, to bring everything on the disc?
I now need to film in half (; say after 1:30) and split the other half must then been separately on a second double layer.
Is that because not one?

Use the fewest Adobe EncoreDVD or have I put anything ambiguous or unclear?

With 6MB / s and Dolby sound, it would have to go right and sometimes gazing whether dual-layer is set (the total size must not exceed 7.9 GB. So consider again 400MB for menus)

And what about with the encoding process? m2v or directly encode in Encore?

Whether you codierst in Premiere or Encore in is actually (hopefully) does not matter
It makes sense to burn only sign in one (ISO) to file and with another burning program, in case the DL Encore does not correctly detect and to avoid coasters
