can someone tell me whether you can create a mask in Premiere 6.5? Respectively. estimated in Premiere Pro?
If so, how? :)

Or is it in AfterEffects, if there makes a mask possible synonymous create a polygonal mask, or is there a round, square or "elypse-shaped"?

Photoshop, Premiere and After Effects primarily - you climb so full of one ;-)
I think it's always good to ask much, but do not you think that it might be useful, you'd just times you read the manual of each Programs (AU is on, although partly in English, but the rest has been helping tremendously next), Otherwise, there is still synonymous excellent Books of) such as Galileo Design (http://www.galileodesign.de/! Admittedly, not just provide cheap, a reader, but a thorough knowledge which he can try and by sporadic demands (eg here) develop only partially and in a much longer time. So: It pays ...
Now to your question:
In Premiere, you really can not really Masks (partly, perhaps) in the title designer, but you can import masks from Photoshop or similar and use. (How do you read s.besten in Help!)
In After Effects you can create all kinds of masks. That you do s.besten with) the line tool (or pen) for your above-mentioned stakeholders and rectangles with the shape tool (* *- type mask tool. (How is indeed pretty obvious, but you can read in the synonymous assistance.
Once you have you properly incorporated into the matter, you'll soon have completely different questions, so you bring true cinema effects achieved.

But unfortunately I have no manual * g * (why always synonymous: Can - / So, with 15 years to understand but that I had the money nich xD ... I hope nobody reads here of adobe with * g *)
But s.PC in the Help, I can read more synonymous know ... And I'm going to buy evt synonymous times a Book.
So with After Effects, it really has (almost) unlimited possibilities. Think it's especially great to work together as the full versions, always with an interface resembling themselves!
I've only created masks, when I clicked on the clip, right-click> Mask> New Mask
Then I could stop if anything, just do not draw only their own mask as I wanted ... But I can not really synonymous simply a "mask" feature!
I still have a lot planned with After Effects ... And learn every day pretty much to uhnd think that goes for a while next:)
But I hope that you (with the time almost?) All the functions well known.

So I seh grad, of the Galileo design, there's unfortunately no manuals to Prof. AE 6.5
I have this LernDVD of Gerhard Koren etc. was (to put all employees with us for free).
If you want, I can lend you time (which is really more for beginners, so it is as it were synonymous with "unused" left).
If you are interested (of course, is synonymous for others who want the time to learn the basics in AU as long as I get three hundred emails) schick mir mal ne mail:
