I have a pretty silly problem with Adobe Premiere 1.5:
Whether video with an audio track, mp3's, waves or other files that Premiere is generally no sound when you preview the project in the timeline again. I click the relevant files with double-at, so I can open it without problems in the second additional window and play individually) (sound ever heard.
Even if I scrub with the playhead through the timeline, the sound is audible. However, I attempt in real time or after rendering my sequence I look at my work, the sound is not audible.
've Tried everything possible but the problem remains the same. I hope very much for your help!

have observed a similar problem with me, but found no regularity, as it occurred only once every few days.
Premiere Today I restarted and then everything went completely fanciful. In any case, time is worth a try to close the program and then start anew.
Another problem may be that you have your camera or your playback devices still connected via Firewire, which is that synonymous can lead to problems.
Look under Project / project settings / general / playback-settings (sorry I ne English version) as well, have put everything on there, audio hardware or desktop. Now everything is super with me.
