Final Cut Pro is a highly professional manner, but can not everything. As HVX-720p 50 user falls flat (bad for slow motion). For MacOS you can stand how you will, my OS of choice is now synonymous Linux and Solaris, but there is nothing with film-cutting (with exception of Linux, but do not always work as they should).
My personal opinion about the future of MacOS is:
It is set as the development is too expensive. The Mach kernel is old, the developer of it off of Apple, the errors in the OS are piling up. Windows is already aufm Apple, the applications like Final Cut Pro will then be synonymous soon run on Windows. I do not trust me because almost bet.
From this perspective, and I absolutely bad opinion about jobs and the general Mac users (an elite circle of the Boot Camp should be an absolute horror) I never get a MAC into the house. So, unfortunately, not synonymous Final Cut Pro (which is really excellent).

Wow, UNIVERSL: with such a post in a Mac forum, you would probably be stoned :-)
But I see that I stand with my opinion, not quite alone, for synonymous, I think long term, the importance of OS X could diminish, rather, what might at some point might even lead to a complete real setting. Nevertheless, with just now, the Mac has become more interesting: I'm looking for is certified by the end of a workstation that of Avid. If the new macs and are not priced to meet these more expensive, I would certainly be considered (to draw comparison with an HP workstation, the macs are in fact cheaper).
However, in order to respond to the input Posting:
FC is in your Comparison certainly the better choice, especially with regard to professional format. It depends but probably synonymous to the Camera and set to the required format, which are important to you. You only take on DV, so is probably every program (on a PC, there are only handle so many other premiere), whereas in the targeted HVX200 will probably cause some cut solutions to problems (at 720 50p at the moment anyway at all actually up) on Edius - I am not so sure.
Ultimately, there is still synonymous in reference to how far you're willing to really learn the program. There's huge differences, and depending on what you have for requirements that would be one or the other solution is better for you.
In your choices, I would certainly prefer to FC, have in the election on 2 PC's to choose between 2 programs, I would always choose Avid - synonymous when it initially because 'ne fairly high learning curve there.
